Ladies of Harley (LOH) is about women motorcycle enthusiasts – passengers and riders – getting together and having fun at mixed and ladies-only events. As we grow our membership, we hope to organize activities such as monthly “Ladies Nights Out” dinners, charity fundraisers, LOH rides (planned for ladies by ladies), and any other events that develop from our members’ suggestions.
As Ladies of Harley our goal is to promote active participation by women in our chapter and in Harley-associated events. The best way to see what we’re about is to join us on a ride. If you’re a passenger, you will appreciate scenic, relaxing rides on some of the most beautiful (and little-known) county roads throughout NJ, PA, NY and CT. If you’re a rider, bring a full tank of gas and get ready for a challenging, exhilarating experience. Whether you come alone or with your significant other, you’ll always be welcome.
The Essex County HOG Blood Drive is held annually on during a Essex County Harley-Davidson Open House. The event features food, live music, and a discount on in-stock merchandise for all blood donors. The Bloodmobile from the Blood Center of NJ will is generally on-site from 10 AM - 2:30 PM. This is a rain, snow or shine event - so regardless of the weather, everyone shows up to donate.
This event is a perfect opportunity to check us out and stop by the Essex County HOG / LOH Chapter table. We’ll be happy to answer all your questions about membership and the benefits of joining our club.
Learn to Ride
A new demographic in Harley riders has been gaining momentum: women. No longer the province of bearded, tattooed, leather-jacketed men, women made up 12% of Harley's sales in 2006. The Motorcycle Industry Council says women account for about 10% of all motorcycle sales nationwide.
The Essex County HOG/LOH Chapter wants YOU to join in the fun and learn to ride.
